I would like to make an enquiry as to your advice to heatshield protection in the engine bay of my car. I've got a Subaru Impreza with a 2.2 Cosworth Stroker engine and it's running around 500 BHP. It get very hot under the hood and the way it's been designed means the bonnet is exposed to exhaust Manfold temperature's. Can you recommend a suitable heat reflector for the underside.of the bonnet for my car.

The self adhesive Zircoflex will be the best option for the bonnet, it is available in 1, 2 or 3 layer, obviously more layers offers better protection. If you want something a bit more rigid to mount around the cat that you will need to bolt/rivet on to a panel or brackets etc you could use the Nimbus/Cirrus or Zircoflex flex form, both are rigid but bendable so you can shape to suit your needs:
