The HANS® (Head And Neck Support) is compulsory in Formula 1, WRC and Formula 3000. It's also highly recommended for use in other forms of competitive motorsport as well as trackdays. The support can substantially reduce head and neck injuries in the event of an accident and is now available to all drivers. Of the three versions available, these the 20° versions are suited to saloon cars used in Rallying, Touring etc. where a more upright posture is favourable. The device can be used with any FIA approved Willans harness. Sizes are based on neck or collar size: 38 to 47cm (15" to 18") is medium and over 47cm (18") is large.
