PWR Slimline Oil Coolers
PWR's range of Slimline Oil Coolers have been designed
specifically for transmission, differential, power steering and
fuel cooling where space is at a premium. Known as Plate and Fin
oil coolers, these coolers are manufactured from high quality
aluminium offering a compact and rigid construction whilst
remaining lightweight, corrosion resistant and still providing high
heat transfer properties.
The patented ‘dimple’ design plates re-direct oil flow and,
in conjunction with the unique louvered fin design, provide
excellent cooling properties with minimal pressure drop. These
plate and fin oil coolers are manufactured from 19mm thick core
size making them ideal for fitting in small spaces. Whilst the flat
panel mounting brackets make fitment into sidepods, air dams or
other tight spaces even easier. One important point about these
coolers is that the mounting lugs are flanged on all sides making
them a stronger fit than other makes.
PWR 37mm Engine Oil Coolers
After much research and development with wind tunnel analysis,
PWR have introduced their 37mm thick engine oil coolers to further
maximise heat transfer with minimal pressure drop. The unique new
turbulator technology achieves extremely high levels of heat
transfer. These PWR oil coolers are among some of the most robust
available on the market, offering longer life even when operating
in extreme conditions. These all Aluminium oil coolers are supplied
with low profile brazed fittings giving the cooler a streamlined
appearance. Fittings are available with -6, -8, -10 or -12JIC
adaptors. In tests carried out comparing a PWR against another
leading oil cooler, the PWR cooler was 15% more efficient at
transferring heat. Available in 7, 14, 21 and 28 row versions.
