Unions for use with SAE 100R6 rubber or braided hose when either swaging the unions in place or securing them with hose clips. Manufactured from zinc plated mild steel and feature a mildly serrated shaft to help securly grip the hose.
Aeroquip 'Fir Tree' unions are for use with the Aeroquip 'Push Fit' FBN and FBV hosing. These unions push in to the hose and grip with the large serrations on the shaft, meaning there is no need for hose clips or swaging. These unions can not be used with any other type of hosing other than the FBN & FBV Aeroquip hose.
