Dual layer; Outer layer is platinum cured silver silicon. Inner layer is impregnated insulating fabric. Bronze spiral spring in sandwiched between the 2 layers, giving a smooth bore. Matt silver finish gives excellent heat insulation. Operates from -80 to 310 degrees centigrade.
